Innovative ideas competed at the OSTİM Technical University R&D and Innovation Project Market event
OSTİMTECH R&D and Innovation Project Market, organized in cooperation with OSTİM Technical University, OMİD – METU Graduate Business People Association, made significant contributions to the entrepreneurship ecosystem with the final presentations. While the Project Market provided university students and academics with the opportunity to realize their innovative ideas, it also enabled the commercialization of scientific and technological innovations.
The event, which was held in a wide range of fields such as artificial intelligence, software, unmanned vehicle technologies, industrial design, green transformation, digital transformation and manufacturing technologies, was organized open to students at the associate, undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels from universities in Ankara. A total of 110 applications were received in the event, and 14 projects made it to the finals and made their final presentations on the stage before the jury presentations.
The event, coordinated by OSTİM Technical University Technology Transfer Office, provided significant opportunities in areas such as comprehensive mentoring, business model development and project writing for students and academics with entrepreneurial potential, who were guided by the university's Technology and Entrepreneurship Program (TEGİP) Commission. A total of 50,000 TL in prizes were awarded to the projects that won awards. 25,000 TL in prize money was presented to the first, 15,000 TL in prize money to the second and 10,000 TL in prize money to the third. In addition, eight projects were awarded a Technology Market Gift Card worth 7,500 TL and one project was awarded a 1-year membership to OSTİM Teknopark PROTA Makerspace..

First Prize: OrthoiXR Project
OrthoiXR is a digital platform that creates patient-specific 3D anatomical models from medical images with artificial intelligence-supported analysis and supports surgical planning with XR technology. It offers simulation opportunities for surgeons and training support for assistants; while ensuring accuracy and speed in the planning process, it also provides operational efficiency and cost advantage to healthcare institutions.
· Second Prize: Farmer Project
The application is a digital platform that provides farmers with artificial intelligence-supported disease recognition, accurate pesticide recommendations and information sharing. It increases agricultural efficiency with early diagnosis and logistics integration, while enabling direct marketing and safe transportation of products..
· Third Prize: Waste Exchange: Smart Recycling Network for Industry
The digital platform supported by artificial intelligence identifies companies' waste into the system and matches it with companies in need; it enables the reuse of waste through barter or shopping. In this way, it contributes to environmental sustainability and reduces waste management costs.

1. First Prize: GreenIQ
GreenIQ is a digital solution that reduces carbon emissions by optimizing distribution processes with artificial intelligence; provides secure and transparent ESG and financial reporting based on blockchain. It enables sustainable and data-based decisions in the supply chain by providing support to Turkish SMEs in green transformation and regulatory compliance.
2. Second Prize: Baseco.
Baseco offers environmentally friendly box solutions that are produced with recycled materials and prioritize hygiene and durability. It preserves the freshness of the products with its air ducts and integrated odor eliminator systems; and creates a practical and sustainable alternative suitable for different usage scenarios with its lightweight and portable structure.
